DOWNTOWN: FALL 23
Inspired by the iconic loft dance parties born in New York in the 1970s that paved the way for Studio 54, our new fall collection DOWNTOWN feels expansive, artistic and elevated.
BLAK Designer and Director Teresa Hodges explains that DOWNTOWN was designed with a spirit of glamour and celebration.
“We wanted to inspire women to have fun in getting dressed up, whether that’s to host a party, attend a late summer wedding or to make moves at work. What we wear sets the tone; it has the power to make us feel incredible and colour all our experiences for the better.
DOWNTOWN’s silhouettes feel effortless, with flowing, relaxed fabrics and easy-to-style separates. Mini dresses to soak up the last of summer in, full and feminine dresses that transition perfectly through the seasons and tops and trousers that can be dressed up or down for work or the weekend.
The collection is grounded in wearable neutral shades, elevated with bold geometric and floral prints and glamorous high shine finishes. As a playful counterpoint; the addition of striking royal blue, purple grape and bubblegum pink.
